God is still in control!
For many of us the last few years have felt heavy, especially during the Covid pandemic 2020 & 2021.
People's lives were changed so dramatically, people have lost their health, their livelihoods, many companies have reduced their workforce or have closed due to the devastation of this virus.
Today we have 6,887,000 million deaths from this virus worldwide. I know for many it feels like our hearts are bleeding from the inside out, but throughout all the devastation there are many inspirational stories of kindness in the world as well. An act of kindness can be as small as letting an older person in front of you in a long queue or paying for someone's coffee, or letting someone know they matter.
Throughout these bad times or the silver linings that we so often witness or hear about, God is still in control. We will shout from the rooftops, "look what You have done Lord" and yes Lord may You get the GLORY from all of this! Father God, remind us that You are always in control. The enemy can try and tell us we will never get out of these bad storms in our lives, but the storm is not in us, You are in us Jesus, and we will therefore never fear! All the heaviness Lord brings us to our knees, and we love and trust You more and more each day. Father, You are the voice that will calm the storms within our souls.
Matthew 6:34 - "Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with You wherever you go".
Lord Jesus, You are good and kind and we are so loved by You. You carry our hurts with us and You weep with us. You hold the victory my Lord Jesus. We shout out Your praise. Jesus my heart will forever choose to shout out YOUR praise. Let our hearts not be anxious.
Lord Jesus,
Give us the GRACE to see beyond the fear and uncertainties,
Give us GRACE so we can continue to turn to YOU,
Give us GRACE to continue to be Your hands and feet in this world and be kind to one another,
Give us GRACE so we can continue to turn to YOU,
Give us GRACE to continue to be Your hands and feet in this world and be kind to one another,
Give us GRACE to accept with serenity, all we are not in control of, BUT YOU ARE!
Colossians 1:17 - "He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together". Thank you Father God for carrying us on Your shoulders and for Your absolute power over all things. Lord you would never be able to be defined by our human minds, our intellect will never fully grasp the God who loves us so unconditionally, who accepts and loves us just as we are. I don't have adequate words Jesus to describe your goodness.
My heart will always sing of your Love Jesus, Your holiness, You are worthy my Jesus and You are still in control. Your love is the compass of my heart Jesus. When we can no longer fight for ourselves Jesus I know You will fight for us, as YOU ARE STILL IN CONTROL.
🙏Father, thank you for Your unconditional love for us and your new mercies every morning. Be with all humanity in these dark times and show us that You are with us and You have control over all things, as all things begin with You, and remains in You.
We love You Jesus 💓

Jehovah - El Elohim - God my Strong Protector
One of God's incredible attributes is that He is our Strong Protector. We live in such dangerous, unsure times, where enemies are prowling around each corner. So it is safe to say that during the times we live in we have to remind ourselves that there is only ONE Strong Protector -
“If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says God,
“I’ll get you out of any trouble.
I’ll give you the best of care
if you’ll only get to know and trust me.
Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times;
I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party.
I’ll give you a long life,
give you a long drink of salvation!”

Oh yes, Father God, help me to get to know You and to trust You. Protect me from all sides, let my feet be grounded in You as my Foundation. Lift my head high and clothe me with Your blessings as my help is only from You. Father God take my side and give me favour. Let me be still when I need Your help God as my heart is doing all the talking. Amen!
